The inaugural Sick New World festival was a massive hit in 2023. Now, the festival returns moving up a month to April 27, 2024 with a massive lineup like last year to the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. System of a Down returns as a headliner this year. Also headlining the festival is the ever-so-popular Slipknot. If that doesn’t grab your attention the festival also has A Perfect Circle, Alice in Chains, Bring Me the Horizon, and the one and only Danny Elfman! But wait, there is still so much more!

What I love looking at the admat is the wide variety of musical artists performing on that one day. For those who need their heavy sound you have Lamb of God, Knocked Loose, Sevendust, Helmet, Code Orange, Jinjer, Nonpoint, and Kublai Khan TX. For metalcore fans you have Motionless in White, Ice Nine Kills, and Bad Omens. If you need a mix of heavy and melodic you have Spiritbox, Wage War, and Black Veil Brides. If you’re a fan of 90s-2000s metal you have bands Powerman 5000, Dope, Combichrist, and Static-X. And I have to commend the festival for also securing Kittie! They are a band not to be missed. And for a flavor of something different the festival offers Primus, Baby Metal, and Sleep Token, who are taking stages by storm. It is a great lineup with so many bands to see.
