FROM THE PIT TO THE STREAM: FALLING IN REVERSE – LIVE FROM THE UNKNOWN PART II – APRIL 30, 2021

When we last left Falling In Reverse in Live From The Unknown Part I on April 16, 2021, the band was standing on top of a flat top mountain with no way down, when a large meteor struck an island behind them, sending a massive explosion and cloud of smoke their way. The band was engulfed by the smoke when the livestream ended. Now, we’re presented with Live From The Unknown Part II. What will Falling In Reverse provide for us in this livestream? Ronnie Radke (vocals), Max Georgiev (lead guitar), Christian Thompson (rhythm guitar), Wes Horton (bass) and touring member Luke Holland (drums) were ready to entertain the fans with great music and special effects once again.

We find the band standing on a rooftop in a futuristic looking city and starting us off with “Rolling Stone” from their 2013 Fashionably Late. Once again, Falling In Reverse sounded fantastic rocking out on the rooftop with great harmonies between Ronnie and WesRonnie also brought back some of his rap singing with “It’s Over When It’s Over” also from Fashionably LateI really loved their performance of “Superhero” from their 2017 Coming Home. The band was completely on point, the music was tight, and Ronnie‘s vocals were just so good!

The special effects for the livestream were a lot of fun to watch. The futuristic city changed it’s look with every song and at one point it was snowing. They had some falling digital icons falling from the sky during one song, bouncing ball with lyrics, and even a helicopter attacking the stage. It was some amazing effects for the event. The only piece I didn’t care for was the overhead view of the band as it looked to be a shaky cam.

Ronnie was also very grateful to the fans and the production crew during the event. Though, he did have some choice words for Robert Ortiz during their performance of Escape The Fate‘s “Not Good Enough for Truth in Cliche”.  Falling in Reverse did perform their trilogy of singles that night “Losing My Life”, “Losing My Mind”, and “DRUGS”. The band wrapped up the event withtheir 2019 single “Popular Monster”. At the end of the performance, the city starts getting bombarded with meteors. Buildings start catching on fire and falling over and when Ronnie says his final farewell and thank you, Falling In Reverse is engulfed in flames.  The full setlist from that night:

  1. Rolling Stone
  2. Chemical Prisoner
  3. It’s Over When It’s Over
  4. Superhero
  5. Not Good Enough for Truth in Cliche (Escape The Fate cover)
  6. The Westerner
  7. Losing My Mind
  8. Losing My Life
  9. DRUGS
  10. Popular Monster

Once again, Falling In Reverse brought the fans a great selection of songs with a phenomenal performance. And once again, I did wish this livestream was longer. Who doesn’t want to hear more Falling In Reverse? You can still pick up exclusive merch from the livestream over at firmerch.com.
