FROM THE PIT TO THE CROWD: ADELITAS WAY WITH OTHERWISE, MOON FEVER, AND ABOVE SNAKES – WALLY’S – HAMPTON NH – MAY 12, 2023

Adelitas Way

I was able to check out Adelitas Way, Otherwise, Moon Fever and Above Snakes at Wally’s on May 12th. What’s great about a smaller venue like this is that you get to be up close and personal with the bands. The singers from the first 3 bands couldn’t resist getting off stage and engaging with their audience on a MUCH closer level, which was insane!

Above Snakes, the edgy band out of New England returned on their eagerly awaited tour. A sense of pride, ownership, and belonging swept through the crowd “These are our guys, they’re from Boston,” a concertgoer exclaimed as we eagerly awaited their appearance on stage. Above Snakes’ sheer passion and undeniable talent captivated the audience, leaving them screaming for more. Screaming “kill, kill, kill” to be exact as they sang along to “81”

Moon Fever, the dynamic rock band out of Seattle, delivered an unforgettable performance with their edgy, old-school ballad rock vibe. It’s hard to categorize what their music sounds like, partly punk, partly ballad rock and 100% killer. Lead singer Tristan’s mesmerizing, throaty vocals added a melodic touch to their songs, drawing listeners in with every note. The band as a whole exuded an incredible level of high-energy, making it difficult to decide where to look, for fear of missing a single moment. From the pounding drums to the electrifying guitar riffs, Moon Fever commanded the stage with a relentless passion that was impossible to resist. Their performance is one that is not easily forgotten and you really don’t want to miss out on this band.

Otherwise took the stage with a captivating presence that entertained the crowd from start to finish. Adrian’s vocals were both smooth and powerful, adding depth and emotion to their performance. Their setlist was a perfect blend of all their best hits. Otherwise kept the crowd engaged with their catchy melodies, infectious rhythms, and relatable lyrics. Adrian always engages with the fans, getting up close and personal, singing literally to them. He also had some fun with Wally’s security in the pit. Otherwise provides a performance not to be missed and leaves the fans wanting to hear more.

Adelitas Way took the stage with an exhilarating presence befitting their headlining slot, delivering a memorable concert experience. From the very first note, the band commanded the stage with unwavering confidence and a captivating energy that radiated throughout the venue. Lead singer Rick DeJesus commanded the crowd’s attention with his commanding vocals and charismatic stage presence, effortlessly connecting with fans. Adelitas Way’s performance was a seamless blend of powerful anthems and emotionally charged ballads. The audience was taken on an unforgettable journey through the band’s catalog of hits, each song resonating with passion and intensity, including my favorite “Alive”

Club shows like this are intense, especially when the bands exude the same high-energy as the ones tonight. It’s an amazing feeling for fans to leave the concert feeling like they were part of the show and have an incredibly personal experience with the artists in your face. This is something that often gets lost at larger shows.
