The third annual Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival was supposed to occur back in July 2020. Unfortunately, like every other festival and concert tour, the pandemic shut it down. Fast forward to 2021 the festivals and concert tours are returning! But, this time, Inkcarceration was coming back for their third annual festival bigger and better than ever. Daniel Janssen, one of the founders and General Manager of Inkcarceration partnered up with Danny Wimmer Presents, one of the largest independent producers of destination music festivals in America. Danny Wimmer said, “We’ve been so impressed with Inkcarceration, and how quickly it became a must-see show on the festival calendar.” And this partnership delivered and fantastic lineup. So good that Inkcarcertation is SOLD OUT!
This 3-day festival runs from September 10-12, 2021. The headliners for this festival speak for themselves. Friday, September 10th is the metal band Slipknot. You have to be living under a rock to not know who Slipknot is and the power and energy they bring to the stage. Their high energy, headbanging, mosh generating style is absolutely sure to rock the festival attendees and is a perfect way to close Friday night. Their last album We Are Not Your Kind in 2019 debuted at #1 on the US Billboard 200. Saturday, September 11th is even bigger with the return of the metal band Mudvayne. After being gone from the stage for 12 years, the band reunites for exclusive performances at Danny Wimmer Presents festivals. Mudvayne is also known for their heavy sound, high energy, and most certainly generating mosh pits like there’s no tomorrow. The Inkcarceration fans are in for a treat that night! And on Sunday, September 12th, one of Danny Wimmer Presents most requested and well known artists returns, Rob Zombie. His eclectic performances, lighting, and stage presence is like no other, and everyone has heard his music. Rob Zombie knows how to get the crowd moving and delivers memorable performances.
But that’s just the headliners! The additional lineup delivers a wonderful mix of rock and metal over the weekend with some of my personal favorites including Killswitch Engage who always provides such a fantastic performance. Steel Panther who’s own blend of rock and stage performance has become a must-see show. The Mongolian metal band The Hu will bring their very unique music to the stage. Fan loved Pop Evil will rock out and get the crowd grooving and August Burns Red will drop the heavy and expect the fans to do the same. And wait until the crowd sees the performance from Fever 333 who always finds a way to be the shining gem of the festivals. The full lineup details are below:
