Now we start to get into the really fun part of the Blue Ridge Rock Festival: Artist Announcements! For those new to Blue Ridge Rock Festival, the lineup is driven by the fans via polls on their Facebook page, Twitter, and Instagram. In the end, the festival does their best to sign on as many of those artists who won the polls or sign on artists who are constantly requested via the Facebook group Blue Ridge Rock Festival Fan Zone. And if you’re not a part of that group, you should be as it is a true community of people who support his festival and there is a plethora of information about the festival there. Once the venue was announced, it was only a matter of time for the festival to start releasing Artist Announcements and that’s exactly what they did!
Our Livestream discusses the Artist Announcements that happened from February 18th, 19, and 21st. Those artists were Kittie (reunion show), Lacey Sturm (plus acoustic performance), Butcher Babies, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (plus acoustic performance), Suicide Silence, and Buckcherry.
