Blacktop Mojo is known for their blend of post-grunge, classic rock, and Southern rock influences. This evening they brought their sound to the venue called Off The Rails. A beautiful music venue, along with a restaurant on the other side, and crowd ready to hear them play. Their performance was both energetic and passionate.
The band is very interactive with the crowd and truly knows how to get them engaged and moving. Matt James is a truly talented singer and does such beautiful vocal work. Chuck and Malcom rock out on the guitars and Matt provides the bass riffs that gives Blacktop Mojo that Southern Rock sound. Nathan is stellar on the drums as well. Together, they perform such fantastic music and the crowd was very appreciative of their work. While the crowd was smaller it really gave the show that intimate feel. They didn’t let the size of the crowd slow them down and they brought the same high-energy stage presence.
They performed songs from their various albums, including popular tracks such as “Burn the Ships” and “End of Days”. They also added in “Born to Lose” which is a new single from the upcoming Pollen that releases on April 5, 2024. Blacktop Mojo is truly a fan favorite and always puts on a fantastic live performance.
