It’s that time once again! Orlando’s rock station 101.1 WJRR announced today the first bands for Earthday Birthday 2023! The festival will be held at the Central Florida Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 22, 2023. And with the announcement came the first round of artists that will be performing and what a lineup to start!
First, we have the rock band Breaking Benjamin who is definitely a fan favorite especially rocking the airwaves of WJRR. They are a fantastic live band and always provides an entertaining performance. If you’ve never listened to their music, I highly recommend checking them out. Falling In Reverse led by Ronnie Radke brings that alternative rock sound that day. They are high energy and lots of fun. Personally, I think everyone will be super excited on The Pretty Reckless. With their last album Death By Rock and Roll coming out during the pandemic people have been waiting patiently in Central Florida for their return. And then we have the metalcore heavy hitters in Beartooth. Their last stop through Central Florida in St. Augustine was such a memorable performance I absolutely love to see them announced for Earthday Birthday 2023.
Also announced was Bad Wolves who have been a really hot band over the past few years, especially with their cover of The Cranberries’ “Zombie”. Dorothy is an awesome addition to Earthday Birthday as well. This hard rock band has a great stage presence, awesome hard rock, and attendees are going to love them. And last, but certainly not least, New Years Day is coming back to Florida to rock the stages. They are a very talented band with an amazing sound and their energy is full speed ahead at every performance.
Earthday Birthday will have 3 stages this year, bringing back the BMX Demo, professional wrestling, food trucks, and the vendor village with an Art Walk and much more.
Unlike last year, Earthday Birthday will NOT have a pre-sale this year. Once again, no pre-sale this year for 2023! Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster and WJRR.com at 10am on Wednesday, November 9th. Instead, the initial wave of ticket prices will be based on how early you buy! Here is the way they will be handled:
1st 500 tickets – $25.00 plus s/c
Next 1000 tickets – $35.00 plus s/c
Next 1000 tickets – $45.00 plus s/c
Next 1000 tickets – $55.00 plus s/c
For those interested in going VIP this year:
HARD ROCK ORLANDO VIP ticket will be $199.00 plus s/c and includes:
- Dinner provided by Hard Rock Orlando (4-6pm)
- Event T-shirt not sold at the event
- VIP Only Restroom
- View the live broadcast from the VIP area (we have not done this the last 2 EDBD’s)_
- Free Soda/Water in the VIP area
- Giveaways in VIP during the event
- Shaded/Seating Area
After first wave of tickets sell out here is the ticketing info:
- GA ticket will be $80.00 plus s/c (after the discounted tickets are no longer available)
- 4 Pack – $65.00 each – $260.00 plus s/c (will hold to release these until after the first 3500 tickets sell out
