This year marks the 12th annual RSD, and Warner Bros. Records returns as an official sponsor. These very special releases grace the shelves at thousands of independently owned record stores in the U.S. and around the globe for a limited time and usually disappear on the day.

Eric Clapton: One More Car One More Rider – Clear Vinyl. Limited to 3,000 copies
In a never-before-released format, Eric Clapton’s platinum-certified eighth live album One More Car One More Rider will be available on three 12-inch vinyls in a triple gatefold board jacket. This classic live collection features recordings captured during a summer 2001 two-night stand at The Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Goo Goo Dolls: Topography – 5 x Colored vinyl. Limited to 1,100 copies
The global vinyl debut of the albums Let Love In, Gutterflower, and Something For the Rest of Us. This five-vinyl set also includes the triple-platinum classic Dizzy Up The Girl and Magnetic. Each vinyl comes in a different color sheathed in its own slipcase.

The Gorillaz:  The Fall- Green vinyl album. Limited to 5,000 copies.
The U.S. vinyl debut of Gorillaz’ fourth album, which was originally recorded on co-founder Damon Albarn’s iPad and first released in 2010 as a streaming exclusive on the band’s web site. It comes on forest green vinyl in a four color board sleeve.

Emmylou Harris: Studio Albums Collection – 5 x Black vinyl. Limited to 1,100 copies
This set of studio albums includes the classics: Roses in the Snow, Evangeline, Cimarron, Last Day, and White Shoes. It also contains a bonus 45-rpm single track “That Lovin’ Feeling’ Again” with Roy Orbison b/w “Mr. Sandman.”

Houndmouth: California Voodoo, Part II – 7 inch vinyl. Limited to 3,000 copies
California Voodoo, Part II is Houndmouth’s second installment of state-sponsored witchcraft featuring two unreleased songs. “Talk Of The Town” is an indie music myth. Neither the time nor the place ever seemed quite right to release the track… until now. Written by maestro Jonathan Rado (of Foxygen) and the late, great Richard Swift, Houndmouth’s version of “Talk” features synth-y bass, foot-stomping drums and fuzzy guitar riffs that linger in your head.

Accompanying the collab track is one from Houndmouth’s Shane Cody appropriately titled “Shane’s Song.” The percussion focus here is tastefully accessorized by smooth guitar licks and Cody’s falsetto. Crescendoing into a dizzying whirlwind, “Shane’s Song” takes heartbreak and makes a beautiful sound for all to enjoy.

Mastodon: Stairway To Nick John -10 inch vinyl. Limited to 1,500 copies
GRAMMY® Award-winning Atlanta hard rock juggernaut Mastodon recorded Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway To Heaven” to pay homage to their late longtime manager Nick John, who passed away after a bout with pancreatic cancer in 2018. As Zeppelin remained John’s favorite act, Mastodon chose the band’s opus to honor him. All proceeds benefit charity. Side A features a studio version of “Stairway To Heaven,” and Side B includes a live version. This will be permanently exclusive to RSD as a 10-inch vinyl.

My Chemical Romance: The Black Parade is Dead (Live In Mexico)
Never-before-heard in this format, My Chemical Romance releases a double vinyl in a gatefold of the gold-certified The Black Parade is Dead (Live in Mexico). The seminal live recording from their legendary Black Parade tour comes complete with a Death Certificate. Side D features 3 bonus tracks.
