May 17, 2019 – Los Angeles, CA – Having received high praise from the likes of NPR and Noisetrade, acclaimed and accomplished singer-songwriter Sarah McGowan is ready for another monumental year with the upcoming release of her brand new EP, A Little Intimate, that’s out on June 28th. Today, she has revealed the record’s first single, a mesmerizing country-tinged pop song called “It Felt Good,” which is available for purchase and stream now!

Commenting on the meaning behind the new single, McGowan writes, “I wrote “It Felt Good” after I had an intense summer romance. It was delicious and magical and perfect, but it didn’t last forever. I realized that sometimes you have to appreciate the experience for what it is—a beautiful memory that I’ll remember fondly for the rest of my life.”

Over the last few years McGowan has flourished from aspiring songwriter to successful artist with breakout success from critical acclaim in the press to song placements in hit TV shows on ABC, NBC, Netflix and more. The Connecticut bred, Los Angeles based artist’s latest release is a collection of beautifully written and instantly memorable pop songs that beg to be heard on repeat.

Talking about the new EP, McGowan writes, “The EP, A Little Intimate, is my first release in more than 3 years. This collection of songs is a lot more personal than my last album. I’ve grown a lot in the last few years—had my heart broken a few times, moved across the country, and really matured into a woman. In this EP, I’m embracing these intimate experiences—summer flings, being ghosted, realizing you’re about to hurt the one you love, getting into uncomfortable situations with men. These songs are also all co-written with other talented writer/producers, which is something that has helped me grow as a songwriter and artist. Collaboration is a beautiful thing and I’m proud of the songs I created with these talented writers.”
