On Saturday, May 4th, I had the pleasure of interviewing John Cooper, vocalist and bassist of the rock band Skillet. John came in all smiles and full of energy ready to talk about some new announcements. But, we got a bit off track being May 4th (May the 4th be with you!) and had some discussion about Star Wars and his love for the series and opinions on the current state of the franchise. From there we launched into an in-depth discussion on Skillet‘s future album, their current and future tour (you’ll hear Skillet‘s tour manager throw in some info off screen), and their upcoming comic book by Z2 Comics. We also had a spoiler free discussion on Game of Thrones and Avengers: Endgame. John is so personable and fun to speak to and was an absolute pleasure to interview.
