ORLANDO, FLORIDA [February 25, 2020] – Joe Rogan, a standup comedian for more than 25 years with an inquisitive and intense comedic style and host of influential-podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience,” today announced his upcoming tour, The Sacred Clown. The 21-city tour kicks off on Friday, May 15 in Des Moines, IA and includes his first-ever performance at Orlando’s Amway Center on Saturday, August 15. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 28 at 10 a.m.

For nearly 11 years, Rogan has been the host of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” where he has forged a colossal community of followers through his astonishingly popular internet talk show available both in podcast and video form on YouTube. Rogan’s podcast has become a cultural phenomenon due to his capacity to connect deeply with the everyman. Since 2018, his podcast has shared the number one and two positions as the most popular show in the world on Apple Podcasts and its YouTube channel, PowerfulJRE, has over 7.5 million subscribers. Fans can watch the podcast on Ustream and it can also be heard on Sirius XM’s “The Virus” channel on Saturdays at 12 p.m. EST and Sundays at 5 a.m. and 6 p.m. EST.

In 2002, Rogan’s lifelong martial arts knowledge of combat sports and a stroke of luck launched him into becoming the voice of Ultimate Fighting Championship. His passion for the sport began with martial arts practice at the age of 13. Within two years, the Boston native earned a black belt and soon became the Massachusetts full-contact Tae Kwon Do Champion four consecutive years. At 19, Rogan won the U.S. Open Tae Kwon Do Championship, and as lightweight champion, he went on to beat both the middle and heavyweight title-holders to obtain the Grand Championship.
